Investing for Good is Capital One’s platform where they share their community programs. It’s a detailed view into the company mission and gives both existing employees, and prospective employees insight into opportunities they might explore for themselves.

Each video is a found moment in a person's life showing how having a parent in a nursing home is always on their mind. The videos feature different ages and social backgrounds because caring for an elderly parent is a truly universal situation.

Cate also functions as an app for staff to communicate internally. It gives busy care givers a central hub to stay connected, check schedules and messages and manage their responsibilities while at work, home or elsewhere.

I think every point of contact between a brand and consumer is a chance to connect. No matter how mundane the message may seem it can expressed with a voice and personality that reinforces the brand. (Even when that message is asking how old you are -:)

I was asked to come up with a way to share our video content with patients and family members as part of their introduction to SKLD. I felt we needed a device that was easy to use for the consumer and easy for us to load and manage content. As a bonus we found that employees love using the tablets in their presentations to healthcare professionals.

Freedomair is a budget airline catering to travel between New Zealand and Australia. They fly that route more than any other carrier and they wanted people to think of them first when booking.

When people browse for news, entertainment or travel Freedomair is there.

With such a retro-fun character, I thought the headline had to be in that same 1940‘s tone of voice. So I just imagined how Jackie Gleason would say it. “How sweet it is!”

One day my partner and I were swapping stories we’d read about parents behaving badly, stuff like dads getting into fights, yelling at refs throwing tantrums, etc. Feeling the urge to punch one of these guys in the face, I remarked “is that how you wanna be remembered? As the guy who——-?. Don’t be that guy’.

At that we both stopped and Don’t Be That That was staring us in the face.

For video content we wanted to make this behavior look so ridiculous that even a “bad dad” would get it.
